Author Publication Charges

With the aim of empowering researchers all over the world to get their work published and recognized regardless of their income level, publishing in RUTCST is made free.

Article acceptance requirements

The criteria for an article to be accepted for publication include:

  1. The article should be original writing that enhances the existing body of knowledge in the given subject area. Original review articles and surveys are acceptable, even if new data/concepts are not presented.
  2. Results reported have not been submitted or published elsewhere (although expanded versions of conference publications are eligible for submission).
  3. Experiments, statistics, and other analyses are performed to a high technical standard and are described in sufficient detail.
  4. Conclusions are presented in an appropriate fashion and are supported by the data.
  5. The article is presented in an intelligible fashion and is written in Standard English.
  6. Appropriate references to related prior published works must be included. 7. The article falls within scope of RUTCST.

Guideline for Authors

All articles accepted by RUTCST will be made available online.

Authors can submit their articles via RUTCST’s submission link. Submitted articles should be made in accordance to IEEE ACCESS templates.

  1. Manuscript as a PDF in double column, single-spaced format using one of the required IEEE Access article templates (Microsoft Word or LaTex)
  2. Author lists should be carefully considered before submission. (Changes to author list post acceptance are not allowed.)
  3. Corresponding authors are required to have an ORCID ID associated with their account in RUTCST.
  4. Short biographies are required for ALL authors. As per the required templates, biographies of all authors should be added to the article below the references.
  5. All authors should be listed on both the manuscript PDF as well as on the author list within the online submission.
  6. The article should be thoroughly reviewed for proper grammar before being submitted. Articles with poor grammar will be immediately rejected.
  7. All research works should be carefully referenced.
  8. The article should not be submitted elsewhere at the same time.
  9. Supplemental material (if any) should be submitted as well, along with the manuscript.
  10. Manuscript keywords (minimum of 3 and maximum of 10)
  11. You will be required to select a manuscript type upon submission. If you are unsure, please leave it as “Regular” manuscript.
  12. Suggested Reviewers (minimum of 3)
  13. Opposed reviewers (if any)
  14. Graphical Abstract should be submitted as well.
  15. If the article was previously rejected after peer review with encouragement to update and resubmit, then a complete “list of updates” must be included in a separate document. The list of updates should have the following regarding each comment: 1) reviewers’ concerns, 2) authors’ response to the concerns, 3) actual changes implemented.
  16. RUTCST does not have a page limit, however, we strongly recommend keeping the page count under 10 pages (double column) for ease of readability. Longer articles may result in longer peer review times. Additional content can be added as supplementary material.
  17. Articles submitted to AUTCST should not be under consideration for peer review at any other journal (simultaneous submission).
  18. Upon submission of an article to RUTCST, an author is required to transfer copyright in the article to RUTCST.
